Tyrese Gibson is now facing serious heat after Fulton County authorities issued an arrest warrant accusing him of cruelty to animals, following an incident in his Buckhead, Atlanta neighborhood.
What Went Down
On Sept. 18, a neighbor’s five-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Henry was let into the yard—and just five minutes later, he was found dead. Security footage reportedly showed Tyrese’s four Cane Corso dogs scratching at a door across the street moments before the attack.

Authorities say this wasn’t a one-off. In the week and a half leading up to the tragedy, there were multiple reports of Gibson’s dogs roaming loose. Fulton County Animal Services officials claim Gibson had already been warned.
Legal Moves & Resistance
After several warnings from animal services, Tyrese allegedly agreed to hand over his dogs—but when officers showed up, he asked for extra time. When he still wouldn’t comply, authorities secured a search warrant and the arrest warrant charging him with cruelty to animals.

When they executed the search, the home was empty—and the dogs were gone too.
Severity & Repercussions
The killed dog, Henry, was found with broken ribs, internal bleeding, and puncture wounds. The charge Tyrese faces is classified as a misdemeanor, though a lot depends on what investigations turn up.
Animal Services called the incident a pattern of negligence, emphasizing that owning large, powerful dogs comes with serious obligations, including proper fencing and constant supervision.
Tone It Down: Tyrese’s Role

Gibson, known for his roles in Fast & Furious and Transformers, has not yet publicly turned himself in. Neighbors and the victim’s family are furious, especially since they say this tragedy was preventable.
