Blueface Bulks Up Behind Bars

Rapper Blueface has taken an unexpected turn during his prison stint: the once-slim, face-tattooed figure now carries extra weight, more muscle, more presence. Social media photos show him with a fuller build—an evolution that fans and critics alike speculate could be intentional, a survival tactic, or a rebranding move behind bars.

But that’s not the only shift. While he serves time, his personal life is evolving fast. His new girlfriend, Angela, has reportedly moved into his home—shared with his father—despite his incarceration. Teresa “Karlissa” Saffold (Blueface’s mother) appeared to defend the move, clapping back at critics and asserting her son is choosing a new path rather than playing into drama.

As for former flame Chrisean Rock, she is no longer behind bars. She was released from Oklahoma’s Craig County Jail on September 6, 2024, after spending about three months incarcerated.  She has since had her probation terminated early by the state, a development she shared as a blessing on social media.

Chrisean, who shares a child with Blueface, has publicly shifted her demeanor post-release. She’s spoken about stepping away from casual relationships and party life, saying, “I don’t have an appetite for weed smoking … drinking … sex out of marriage … confusing things.”  Meanwhile, her legal battles are not entirely in the rearview; she continues to face outstanding drug charges from a 2022 traffic stop and is due back in court as the case unfolds.

Blueface landed in prison after violating probation tied to a 2021 assault on a security guard. In August 2024, he was sentenced to four years behind bars, though he is credited for time already served and is expected to serve a portion based on statutory requirements.  He has publicly estimated that, with reduced time and credits, he could be out by early or mid 2026.

One revealing quote from his girlfriend Angela hints at her confidence in the relationship’s trajectory: when confronted with comparisons to Chrisean or speculation about being treated the same, she responded, “You know what? You can’t put your insecurity on other people. How is he going to do me the same way? I’ve been the one holding him down. I’m the realest one on his team.”
